This oasis has many animals. This guide will help you on how to trap animals with some logics. Animals also have a set of defence value. So you have to get a knowledge on what animals to trap.
Traps works on a certain basis. It takes 1 animal of each from left to right, if there are no more animals to the right, it will start from leftmost again. That it will do until all cages are used or animals end.
Tiger is not better than a Crocodile but it has +10 Defence against cavalry than a croc. So the Trick to get 2 Crocs is rather simple.
Equip your Hero with 3 Cages. Attack the Target Oasis. This time you will get 1 Rat , 1 Snake , 1 Croc. Now repeat this process again with 3 cages. So this time you totally will get 2 Rats , 2 Snakes , 2 Crocs.

Thanks for the guide. Since the cages are a new feature, they were a little confusing. Once you capture the animals, they fight to defend your village, yeah?
Yeah they will fight until they die.
thanks for the guide. i'm playing on philippine server. more infos please.. ♥
Steve if you are going to think about it. The animals are on the cage and they will fight and defend to your village. This is different huh. It should be the animals are freely to wonder off the village and act like a pet that protects the village. I am not happy that they are on the cage LOL....
do traps work on other villages?
thanks for the guide! specifically the last part
@hewhoshallnotbenamed Nope only for Oasis
I personally use 2 cages when going to get animals. This way i will get 3rats and 3crocs. Better than suggested 3-3 tactic.
jozu - you would get 3rats and 3snakes in the example, not 3 crocs
Lol owned
ei guys, should i send my hero with an army or when equipped with cages, he gets no harms???
Best solution would be using 4 cagem and capture 1 from all. Average def value is better.
All good apart from the last part, Koc is right. Do it in multiples of 4 and you get a tiger out of every extra cage you use. That's much better than any average you'd get otherwise.
Didnt saw any elephants...
What happens when I click the "send back" button on my nature's troops? Are they all gone at once or do I have the liberty of choosing which ones do I want to send back?
Also, when they fight for us in the battle, how do they determine what number of each of our animals die? If a croc has 240 defence against cavalry and a rat has 20, does it mean that 12 rats will die before one croc does!??
@Yash, you get to choose which ones to send back but you dont get any cages back from those animals.
How can you capture 1 rat 1 snake and 1 tiger without killing the rest in the oasis?
Do the animals that we captured eat our crop or do they eat no crop at all? answer me plz man
all i want to ask ,, is the number of animals more than number of cages so what happend are the left animals outside cages defend against hero or what :S ?
i answear my self : NO ,, just raid as much as possible and get them to you village safety !!! ;) enjoy
No thei eat nothing ! enjoy
Umm i have some animals that I dont really want.
If i sent them back do I get my cages back?
yes they eat your crop
this is foolish, wasting cages like crazy just to avoid tigers? 2 good units for 4 cages or 2 good units for 6 cages. bad math on this site
Rob
it would be better to use 7 cages and get 2 rats 2 snakes 2 crocs and 1 tiger. then you only send the hero out 1 time as well.
I use this tactic early in the game; then def is much more effective especially against clubs and imps. Later I just take tigers as well. Some say average def is better with the tiger but this of course is not true. I just don't bother anymore, difference is small later in game.
very bad math... with your example u use 6 cages to get 2 crocs. instead u can use 7 to get 2 crocs and 1 tiger. or better just 4.
the best is just use 4. and so u get 1 of each. and look for another oasis.
always send hero with xy cages, where x is the number of different animals, and y is the number of the last animal. (given ofc that it's an oasis with strong animals).
example: 10 rats, 8spiders, 6 bears, 4 tigers= u send x(4different animals) times y (4 tigers) = 16 cages.
