My name is Graeme and I reside in a small town in Alberta.
To pay the bills, I am a security Technician for the college in town and Head Coach of a Swim Club in another small town close by. I have a beautiful wife and daughter of 10 months.
We had another daughter earlier that already passed on.
I look forward to down grading my degree as I virtually
have a masters in Biochemistry and have been told that
I'm overqualified for a few jobs. As I take the courses
I need to be a Lab Tech in a hospital, I would also apply
to teach some of the courses offered. As for the swimming stuff,
I swam competitively for 14 years.
I didn't go to the Olympics but I just kept comming back and did fairly well.

This is my first time on Travian. I'll be glad when we win.
I'm looking forward to the freedom of not being tied to the game.
As for the DTO meaning, yeah I'm the culpret.

Hey Everyone

My name is Dave aka Davejmerr and I have been playing Travian for about 9 months on multiple servers, with my 10 year old daughter (tigerwolf).
We live in Minnesota, US.
I am fortunate that Sakuran ran into me early on when
his all of his raiders got stuck in my trapper.
The potentially dangerous situation was defused over the now ongoing joke that my trappers are a high end hotel with a top notch chef. Chef O'Toole. On side note. Chef O'Toole is a IRL buddy of mine who was recently promoted to executive chef of a fancy hotel in Norway. He will be responsible for planning and preparing the meals for the Nobel Peace Prize dinners.

Anyway, this is the first server which I feel we have a very good chance of winning the end game and am glad I can participate in the team. Woohoo.

this is the only WW where the ones doing it had the
chance to name it :-)
This to say, one more time, that a WW belongs to those
who are supporting it, to the few who reached the end
game on the winners side, to the team building the :

SOUTHERN HOPE !

And what an amazing team :
It is not made a large players only, it is not made of
the largest armies ...
However, this is the Best team i ever saw on this server
and i wish to insist on the fact that this is also due
to small or average sized players and my respect goes to them first. Day after days, week after weeks, i can
feel a tremendous enthusiasm growing and our WW
will grow accordingly !
Since monday, no troops starved, the GW were filled in
less than 24 hours and many troops reinforce the
Southern Hope everyday ;
Everydody has a name at the Southern Hope and not
one name is more important than another, it is "one
for all and all for one".
I received many votes, so many that i could not personally thank each one of you ;

This is my 5th server in Travian and I have to admit
I'm addicted to it. I was given the opportunity to say

opinion for this game, instead.

After playing in some servers before,
I've 'met' many people. I believe that the way
we play this game, is how we really are.
Defensively? Attacking? Loyal? Helping? Polite?
We can put these words in Travian easily.
To ourselves also. Are they at the same level ?
I think, yes. If not, there has to be a problem.......

I received many similar IGM today.
First of all, i was very pleased to receive them because
it shows a great motivation from all those who want
our World Wonder to WWin.
But it also shows that the SEWW strategy is not undertood, then let me try to explain it better :
To build the 100th level of a WW, two things have to
be upgraded :
1. The Great Warehouses (GW)
2. The WW levels
In term of time, upgrading the GW first and then the WW levels, or upgrading the WW levels first and then the GW when needed : It does not make any difference.
At one moment, the WWs which are actually 20 levels higher than us, will have to make long breaks to upgrade their GW while we'll have our GW already upgraded, which means rocket speed for us untill level 100.
Here is a comparative example of the time it takes for both :

Time to upgrade 1 GW from level 14 to 15 = 6:46:30
Time to ugrade the WW from level 14 to 15 = 2:47:20

But there are not 1 but 5 GW to upgrade which means
that building one WW level is quite quick, while giving
one level to 5 GW takes a loooong time.
It will take the same time for all the WWs to upgrade
everything and the order does not matter.

But i agree that psychologically, it makes a difference
and i'll give more levels to our WW in the coming days to show you that we can also build fast if we want.

I received another wave of IGM on this subject :

"I can´t carry so much Wheat to all the 3 WW´s where
my Troops are standing.... ´cause its too far away !
9 -13 hours one way for my merchants !
I cannot send 24K to Li Kui and Tarkelic and 48 K to you
at the same day ! :-("

Of course i don't want to cut my brother & friend,
Li & Tark from any support, and on top of it, let's not
forget that as they are on the front line, they need even
more support than the SEWW.
Btw, as we say, "the prettiest woman can't give more
than what she owns !". It is obvious that a location logic
must apply. It belongs to each one of you to evaluate
which is the best but reasonable support they can provide and the evaluation method is simple :
Your troops must be where your merchants can feed them !
And also, better supporting very well 1 WW than lamely supporting 3 or more.
Another way to support faraway WW is to keep extra
defense in case of emergency calls.
Li, Tark and I are working hands in hands, supporting any one of us means supporting all 3 DS WWs.

Travian and online browser game

I just could not believe it that I am addicted to this game "Travian". It is a browser game which you could not see any graphics that you attack to the other villages. You only saw red swords if someone attacking in your villages and yellow swords for reinforcements or you are sending an attacks to the other villages.

At first, I find this game a very boring game but when you are on and you can make lots of friends and join to one of the alliances then you can say. This is so cool. People that I knew, they were playing for years on this game but me. I am just a noob LOL but a brilliant noob. No one can fool me anymore. I am playing to different servers like server 2, 3x, 5, and 8. Those are a lot of accounts and I am sitting someone's account. I am getting started to get tired of this game and I hope I won't leave anyone then.

In server 2, I am so glad that we are on the World of Wonder- meaning it is on the end times. then my account will be no more. In Server 5, it is a quiet awhile and I am going to spend lots of gold with this account. Speed account or 3x, this is the most interesting account that I have. Because I started it when the server starts. I will say that I become a monster on this server. Monster of sending real attacks to someone who mess up with my co-alliance.

Well enough for the travian thing... I will get going and will ended up here for now.

Joined my first alliance which was SECL#1 I think.
It became {DOM} within a month and I stayed there
until joining SECL-EG.
Really liked DOM it just lacked endgame direction.

Opinions on Travian:
-Slightly frustrated by the need for secrecy in the
endgame as it inhibits learning what is going on
outside our alliance.
But do not see a viable solution to the problem.
-Looking forward to Roman drinking troughs
-Think the Teuton raiding bonus is too strong
-Really like gauls as I'm primarily a defensive player
though they got shafted with no new upgrades
(do not mention the trapper).
-I need to learn how to start raiding earlier, effectively.

Well, this had to happen once and it does not mean
that you forgot to feed your troops.
The reason is that the flow fell down for about one
hour today which may happen sometimes.
The only way to prevent low peaks is to deliver crop
in as many separated shipments as possible.
Another reason is that the amount of troops in the SEWW gradually increased and accordingly the needs.
But it was anyway time for an update and here it is :

1. No more troops are needed at the WW :
Hold them in your villages untill you receive
a reinforcement call.
In the teamtime, keep on training defense up to
your storage limits.
When done, upgrade Market places & Trade offices.

2. From now on, we'll need a few wood, clay and iron.
Pls send 1000 of each once every two days which should
be enough for now.

3. Crop of course !
Even if troops are half cost in the WW, the best way
to keep the flow is to send the normal upkeep.
