Sorry for my absence from posting in the last month but a personal tragedy hit myself and my family on the 24th of December and it's been hard to deal with however I'm now back on the game, although not actually playing so I will be back to writing again from today. This isn't a game related post, I'm just going to be talking about the blog and what we've achieved in the last couple of months or so as well as talking about the next set of plans I have to improve the blog further over the next few weeks.
Personally I'm really happy with the way we've progressed since July when I joined on, in that time we've had massive changes in terms of design as well as content. As you may remember (or not) we had a beautiful black custom theme which while looking great didn't quite work with most of our gadgets and sidebar content so we changed to this easy to customise light blue theme. Another major thing has been our new gadgets which I personally am very happy with, we've got all the sharing options allowing you to share our articles on more than 100 social networks and the ability to like our pages on facebook. For us this is particularly important because of the intention of a number of social networks to incorporate the number of facebook 'likes' a site has into their search algorithms, so if you haven't yet liked us please help us by doing so.
Most recently we've made two important changes, the first is the introduction of a mobile version of the site for people viewing from mobiles or from areas with low bandwidth. When viewing on one of these devices you should automatically be redirected to our mobile site, but if not you can find it here. We've used a fresh, clean look design so it will allow greater usage of the blog while on the move. Currently only 5% of our readership is on phones and other portable devices and we hope this will lead to a significant increase.

As well as the mobile site our other most important change is the addition of our twitter page, which can be found here, We'll be posting on there when our new posts are up as well as when we edit the site and other features. Please follow us as it'll allow you to get the latest news about the blog and know when new posts come up.
Over the next couple of weeks I hope to improve the website by focussing on our other pages as a priority, particularly reforming the Hammers & Rammers page; which is in serious need of some love and attention. I'll also be trying to add more guides and other informative information and to create a page where you can find links to all our Travian 4 related posts.
Since I joined in July the blog has picked up momentum gaining more page views and many more unique readers which really makes us proud of what we have achieved. In the entire month of July we achieved only 6,017 pageviews and since then nearly every month has seen an increase on the month before and in December we achieved 16,495 which is an increase of just over 170%. We hope to improve further on this during the coming months and I'm hoping that by the end of this year we'll be able to achieve between 35,000 & 50,000 pageviews per month.
